billy1 300x148 Billy Meggeson (2004 2010)After putting up a brave battle with serious health problems, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved friend Billy on February 2, 2010.

Billy has attended The Original Dog House Inc. since December 2004 as a young exuberant puppy. This magnificent boy with the glistening coat and lively eyes was a friend to all who met him.

We, the staff at The Original Dog House Inc. would like to extend our sincere condolences to Billy’s dad Sean for the loss of his best friend.

Rest in peace Billy with all the puppies you will be meeting in heaven.

With Love forever,

The Team at The Original Dog House

maggie 300x208 Maggie Druxerman (1992 2009)It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maggie Druxerman on September 3, 2009.

For several years Maggie had been attending our daycare and boarding programs, not to mention our grooming spa as every lady must. Maggie was quite a character and had personality that always brought a smile to everyone who would meet her.

The staff at The Original Dog House Inc. would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the Druxerman family ( Bonnie, Peter, Jessie, Cobi and particularly her little big sister Wavey.)

We will all miss you little Maggie. Rest in peace little one. With love from all your friends at The Original Dog House Inc.

ZIP Shama’s passing on June 19th, 2009

Zip 300x225 Zip Shama (1998 2009)The customers and staff at The Original Dog House Inc. want to extend their most sincere condolences to David, Marilyn and Dash for the recent loss of their girl, Zip.

Zip was a wonderful female GSD who was rescued by David some six years ago from a very bad situation.

Even though Zip was only 5 years old when David originally found her, she came to him with a lot of baggage; in fact Zip could not have stood a chance of ever finding a new home anywhere else had David not taken her in.

After 5 years of continuous rehabillitation Zip became a much more social girl with both dogs and people.

As each day passed Zip’s behaviour improved as she became more confident and realized that no one was going to ever hurt her again. She was safe at last with David and her brother Dash.

Over the past five years Zip became a permanent fixture at The Original Dog House Inc. and her function was to be the in-house alarm system, her job was to alert the staff whenever someone would enter the office.

We all miss you very much Zippy.

Rest in peace girl.

With love from all your friends
