Quinn Corlett (2002-2014)
It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of our good friend Quinn.
Over the past 4 and a half years Quinn was a regular member of our pack and during that time this big Husky endeared himself to all of those who would meet him. Quinn was originally rescued by Dan when he was about 4 months old. He was found wandering down a country road with a rope partially embedded in his neck, dragging the frayed end behind him. A kind-hearted person brought Quinn to the local shelter and Quinn’s picture was posted on the shelter’s website.
Dan & his wife Pam saw Quinn online and drove out to see him and immediately fell in love with him. Their first stop upon returning to Toronto was a vet’s office to give Quinn a complete check up. Quinn was very malnourished and sick, so Dan & Pam did everything they could to help the boy.
The rest of Quinn’s life from that point onwards was nothing short of a miracle. Quinn’s malnourished body healed and both Dan & Pam gave Quinn all the love and care possible which led to a long time friendship and devotion all around. After having The Original Dog House and its team help Quinn to settle down and overcome his separation anxiety when away from Dan or Pam, Quinn in fact became a stable, happy member of The Dog House pack and would look forward to his visits with us.
We will miss this big boy and would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences to his Mom (Pam) and Dad (Dan).
Rest in Peace Quinn with Love from All Your Friends at The Dog House.
